The EUROPEAN RAIL SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY WEEK (#ERSTW) will take place from 12 to 15 April 2021 and offers companies (especially SMEs) and scientific institutions along the entire value chain of the rail industry the opportunity to establish valuable contacts and learn about new aspects of international cooperation opportunities.
The #ERSTW is a part of the European Year of Rail 2021 (#EUYearofRail).
The special focus of the first two days is to reach out to stakeholders who are not specifically from the rail sector, but who are developing innovative technologies, materials or other innovations that are suitable for rail companies.
#ERSTW is designed to help actors in the rail sector and beyond to establish new business and research contacts, to find innovations and adapt them to their specific needs.
In addition to the opportunity to make new B2B contacts, participants will receive an overview of strategies, structures, topics and instruments for the future funding of research and development activities for the rail sector in the new EU RTD Framework Programme HORIZON EUROPE. Interested stakeholders have the opportunity to find each other via digital matchmaking, be it for B2B activities or for research collaboration.
